Hata Yoga is the traditional form of the basic yoga poses (asanas). In Vinyasa Flow, those asanas are practiced in a harmonic flow with breath work.
Vinyasa Flow starts with a centering breath to calm the mind and ground the practitioners. Gentle warm up of the body through the 6 movements of the spine and stretching of the core muscles. Focus of this practice is to flow through asanas that strengthen the body and help flexibility and balance. This class ends in a relaxing Savasana – the most important pose in yoga.
You will leave the mat refreshed, a bit tired but with a smile. Thankful of the gift of movement you just offered yourself.
